Caged Birds is a project I created to capture the life of those growing up in the struggling parts of the city. Each track depicts the various triumphs I've encounter as well as others I've grown around from money issues, violence, crime, hustling, and pierced mind sets. Growing up in the low income areas you can sometimes feel like your caged, dreaming of better tomorrows. At the same time you don't realize you have the potential to fly. Only a few find there way and really spread their there wings and take off. Those same individuals sometimes fly and never comeback. I made this tape for me just so I won't forget where I come from and what made me who I am today. I orchestrated this tape for the people.
